The 20th Annual Midwest Book Awards were held at the Minnesota Humanities Center in St. Paul on May 12, 2010. 178 books were submitted for consideration in 25 categories and represented publishers in twelve midwestern states. The first place winner in the Humor category was Call Me Puke, A Life on the Dirt Circuit, the 2009 memoir written by Mark Sieve aka Puke and published by Two Harbors Press, a Mill City Press imprint. The Midwestern Independent Publisher's Association (MIPA) is a nonprofit professional association that serves the Upper Midwest publishing community and includes publishers, authors, editors, artists, designers, printers and distributors.
